A trading company in Yiwu, with hands on the goods.
Yiwu Puyoung Trading Co., Ltd. buys, checks and ships — for importers who would rather not open an office here.
We are based in Yiwu, Zhejiang, a short drive from the Futian market. We own no factory and represent no single brand: our job is to buy well for the people who hire us.
The company
Small on purpose.
A big trading house gives you a case number. We would rather give you a person who knows what your last three orders were and answers the phone at eight in the evening.
Our work sits in two places. One is the market itself: five districts of booths, still the fastest way in the world to find out what a small commodity costs. The other is the factory belt around the city, where a sample can be checked within a day.
Between the two sits a warehouse. Goods come in from many suppliers, get counted, photographed and loaded out again as one consignment. It is unglamorous, and it is the reason a container can be worth more than its single biggest item.
We are not a manufacturer and we do not pretend to be one. If a client needs a factory relationship, we say so — and often we are the ones who keep it honest.

The people
Where we are
Yiwu is a county-level city of some two million people in central Zhejiang, four hours by road from Shanghai and an hour from the port hinterland at Ningbo. The market is the reason the city exists — and the reason the suppliers are all within reach.
Our office sits in Hou Fu Xiao Qu, a short drive from the Futian halls. Goods pass through a warehouse on the same side of town, so a sample, a carton and a container are never more than a morning apart.

How we work
Plain terms, in writing.
Four habits that decide whether a buying relationship lasts longer than one order.
- 01
- Quotes are written
Price, specification, lead time and Incoterm on one page — not a number in a chat window.
- 02
- No silent substitutions
If a material or finish has to change, you hear it before the run, not after arrival.
- 03
- Bad news travels first
A delay reported early is a plan; a delay reported late is a claim.
- 04
- We stay after arrival
If something is wrong at destination, we take it back to the supplier and argue it for you.
Yiwu, Zhejiang
Next to the largest small-commodity market in the world, with the factories that supply it in the same county.
Whatever the order needs
Building materials, housewares, hardware, textiles, packaging, seasonal goods — and the things not on that list.
Importers and fit-out buyers
Distributors with a panel or houseware line, interior contractors, retailers building a range, and buyers who want one honest agent instead of five.
